Privacy

This policy explains what personal information Harvey Rupert collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Harvey Rupert is part of YLM Technologies (UK) Limited, and in this policy “we” and “us” mean both.
What we collect
When you send the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name and business name
- your phone number and email address
- your state or territory
- your current website, if you give one
- which design you are leaning towards (Trig, Paddock or not sure yet)
- anything you write in the message box.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and please do not put any in the message box. If you do not send the form, we do not collect any of these details.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, talk with you about a website for your firm, and give you a quote. If you become a client, we use them to set up and run your website. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Spam checks
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. Turnstile looks at information about your browser and device, and your IP address is passed to Cloudflare as part of the check. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy. The form also has a hidden field that only bots fill in.
Where it is stored
This website runs on Cloudflare. When you send the form, your enquiry is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and emailed to us so we can reply. Cloudflare runs its services from data centres in many countries, and we are part of a company based in the United Kingdom, so your details may be stored or accessed outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to protect them and to limit who can see them.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Cloudflare may use what it needs to keep the site and the spam check secure.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry while we are talking with you. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and then as long as the law requires us to keep business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Seeing or correcting your details
You can ask what details we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete them. We will reply within 30 days.
Contact and complaints
To ask a question, make a request or complain about how we have handled your details, use the enquiry formand say it is about privacy. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
